The truth about fast weight loss diets

Prelude: January 2009

Ok I admit it, I’m overweight, I feel awful, and I look a mess. This whole “bulk up then lose the fat to reveal the muscle” thing just isn’t working.

The problem is every weight loss diet seems hard work! I hadn’t banked on that. Wasn’t the fat supposed to just “melt off” effortlessly?

I’m still eating 6 meals a day and glugging protein, only nowadays I’m never satisfied at any meal. Its like a state of constant hunger and its not much fun,
