You know the guy, does an hour on the treadmill then hits the weights halfhearted dripping in sweat. He suffers the same fate as many; lots of effort in but poor results out. That saying about a jack of all trades and a master of none has a lot of truth in it. He is never going to win a marathon, and at this rate, he’s never going to get in shape either.

Prelude: March 2010

Why aren’t my arms getting any bigger? I’m lifting as heavy as I can. I’m doing pull-ups with a heavy weight belt. I just banged out sets with 20kg strapped to me. That looks pretty impressive, but my arms don’t! Maybe it’s not just about the weight, so I'm starting to ask a new question; how many reps for building muscle size?

How To Get Bigger Triceps

Prelude: 5 minutes ago....

I was just thinking; I don’t think I’ve ever had a compliment or even a putdown about my triceps. Isn’t that funny? Abs, bum, legs, forearms, shoulders, biceps, even back have all made the list, but never my triceps. Well, I reckon that either means I need to figure out how to get bigger triceps, or everyone out there doesn’t recognize a good thing when they see it. If it’s the former I have a plan to get that handled.

We’ve all been there; searching for the workouts that will change the game for us. Instead we usually just end up with a cookie cutter program designed by someone else, for someone else. Something isn’t quite right.

It came out of the blue one morning; “You’re not very broad shouldered honey”. Uh-oh. Those words have just come out of the mouth of the girl I thought was "The one"! This is a problem. See I was in L-O-V-E. You know the feeling.
